Wedding Planning

Support for as much or as little of the planning process as you want — full planning from post-engagement through day-of, or partial planning that picks up a few months out to pull the details together. Vendor research and coordination, timeline and budget tracking, and a shared Notion dashboard so you and your partner can see exactly where things stand. Built around the same system Angela and I rely on to plan our own wedding — refined by actually using it, not just a nice idea on paper.

Engagement Planning

Planning support for the proposal itself — the part that's hard to figure out alone and even harder to keep secret. Location scouting, timing, coordinating a photographer without giving anything away, sorting logistics like access and outfits, and writing and rehearsing the speech until it feels natural instead of memorised. It's the same intensive, caring planning I'd put into my own — from the very first idea down to the logistics on the day itself.

I planned my own this way: a quiet, semi-private stretch of beach in Siargao, Philippines, cleared ahead of time so we'd have it to ourselves, a message in a bottle planted in advance, and a photographer positioned out of sight with a clear shot lined up beforehand — no hovering, no awkward waiting around for the coast to clear, and no strangers wandering into the photos by accident. Outfits and details were locked in, and I practiced the speech until it landed exactly the way I wanted. It earned a yes — and a small round of applause from a few beachgoers who'd been watching from a distance.

Wedding & Elopement Ceremonies

A ceremony written from scratch around your relationship — not a template with names swapped in. We'll talk through your story, your families, and any traditions you want woven in, and I'll stand at the altar and lead every part of it — vows, ring exchange, the pronouncement, all of it — so it sounds like you when it's read aloud. On its own this is the heartfelt ceremony rather than the legal paperwork itself (more on that below) — pair it with a quick legal signing wherever that needs to happen, and I'll walk you through exactly how. Works as a standalone ceremony, or combined with reception hosting as a package deal so the tone carries through the whole day.

Vow Renewals

For a milestone anniversary, or simply wanting to say it again properly with everyone who matters there to witness it. Same personalised approach as a first-time ceremony — built around what's actually happened in your relationship since the first "I do," not a generic script.

Naming Ceremonies

A warm, personal welcome ceremony for a new child or family member. Religious, secular, or blended — built around your family's traditions and what you want the moment to feel like, rather than a one-size-fits-all script.

Wedding Reception MC

Running the room from first look to last dance — timeline management, introductions, coordinating speeches, and keeping the energy right through the natural lulls a reception always has. I also coordinate directly with your other vendors and the venue throughout the evening, so you and your partner can actually be present at your own wedding instead of managing it.

Event Planning

Planning support for the events around the wedding, or entirely separate from it — bachelor and bachelorette parties, milestone birthdays, and corporate outings. Two ways to work together: white-glove, where I hold every detail — venue research, timeline, vendor coordination — so you and your party can just show up; or collaborative, where we plan and brainstorm it together and you stay hands-on throughout. Either way works — it's whichever fits how involved you want to be.

Corporate & Private Event Hosting

On-mic hosting for conferences, launches, and private celebrations — keeping the program moving, introducing speakers, and reading the room, whether that's a formal stage or a private party. My background is in management consulting, where reading a room and adjusting your approach on the fly is part of the job, and I bring that same professional, easygoing instinct to hosting — comfortable adjusting when the schedule shifts, which it usually does.

Memorial & Life Celebrations

A ceremony that honours a life properly, at the pace and tone your family needs — this isn't treated as a smaller or lesser version of a wedding ceremony. Wherever there's been happiness, there's usually been sadness alongside it, and I'm comfortable holding both. Some families want the day to feel quiet and reflective; others want it to feel like a genuine celebration of a life well lived. Either is right — it's entirely guided by what you and your family want.
